Who would have thought that the creamy texture of chickpeas can be for baked goods. Go beyond your typical hummus and enjoy chickpeas as a base for these protein laden, supremely healthy bite sized treats. 

  • 2 cups chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup agave  
  • 1/2 cup almond butter 
  • 3/4 cup raw buckwheat grouts
  • 3/4 cup hemp seeds 
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Combine chickpeas and agave in a food processor. Blend until smooth. Add almond butter and blend to combine. Place in a bowl and mix in the buckwheat, chia and chocolate. Scoop into a greased mini muffin tin and bake at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
