Basic So Fresh Hummus

A perfectly simple hummus recipe from So Fresh. 

  • 3 cups cooked chickpeas
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 tsp tahini
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tsp crushed sea salt
  • 6 tbsp quality extra virgin olive oil 
  • Juice of one large lemon
  • 1/2 tsp coriander
  • 1/2 tsp cumin

Place chickpeas in a food processor. Add the garlic, sea salt, coriander and cumin and process until a dough forms. Add the water, tahini, olive oil and lemon juice and continue to process for 3-5 minutes or until extremely smooth and creamy.
